DeFos Cu

DeFos Cu

Provides resistance to biotic and abiotic stress in plants.

Plant defense stimulator based on Copper and phosphorus. It enhances the plant's resistance against Oomycete fungi, providing resilience against biotic and abiotic stress. The application of this Copper source at the beginning and end of the crop cycle activates plant metabolism and phytoalexin production, improving the plant's own defenses against external pathogen attacks. Especially recommended for all types of fruit trees.

Benefits of DeFos Cu

  • Provides the plant with great firmness. The plant withstands the attack of fungi, particularly Oomycete fungi.
  • Acts directly against the fungus, preventing sporulation. Phosphite competes with phosphate in cellular metabolism, thus slowing down or even blocking the energy transfer processes in the fungus, affecting its growth.
  • Promotes the production and accumulation of phytoalexins and lignification of tissues. This provides greater resistance to fungal attacks. Phosphites cause changes in the cell wall of Oomycete fungi, leading to the disintegration of cell fragments that act as external elicitors, triggering the activation of the plant's defense mechanisms.
  • Provides rapid absorption. It is a systemic product that exhibits favorable resistance to rain wash-off and forms protective bodies after treatment.
  • Contains copper properties. It inhibits the germination of fungal and bacterial spores that hinder the plant's development, strengthening it against potential attacks.
  • Corrects copper deficiency. It acts as a cofactor in many enzyme complexes, which is essential for proper crop growth.

Application method: Foliar/radicular application
